Wallingford Emergency Shelter first fundraising dinner Friday, Nov. 20, at Zandri’s Stillwood Inn. Goal is to construct a major addition onto the shelter for needy families (to be named in honor and memory of Marty B. Rubin).
Hors d’oeuvres/social hour is 6 to 7 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets $40; cash bar. Italian style dinner with entertainment by hypnotist Jim Spinato, mc/comedian Andy “Buck Carr” Carrano, DJ Sound Spectrum and impersonator Sonny Daye. Raffle and prizes.
Special award presentation Wallingford Emergency Shelter “Distinguished Service Award” honoree Tom Zappala.
